Kiwifruit Supervisor (2 Positions)

Hours: Minimum 30 hours/week (up to 40), including some weekend work
Start Times: 7:00am (summer) / 7:30am (winter)

Job Description:
NS Kiwi Management Ltd is hiring two experienced Kiwifruit Supervisors to manage orchard teams across Katikati. You will lead crews and coordinate daily orchard tasks including vine training, pruning, picking, and grading. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, communication, and health & safety awareness.

Key Duties:

• Direct orchard teams on daily jobs and safety protocols

• Oversee pruning, thinning, picking, sorting, and vine maintenance

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and leading hands

• Monitor orchard conditions and report on pests, hazards, and performance

• Track team productivity and job budgets

• Train new staff and support team development

• Manage rosters and worker distribution

• Assist in pricing contracts and workforce planning

Requirements:

• Level 4 qualification, or equivalent experience

• Reliable, physically fit, and willing to work outdoors

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Clean police record and ability to pass drug testing

• Own transport to multiple worksites in Katikati

• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
