Carpenter

Job Description:

Legend residential Ltd is an Auckland-based construction company. We are looking for one carpenter to join us. This is a full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities and accountabilities:

Conduct the tasks to construct, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures of wood plywood, wallboard and other materials for our construction projects

Tasks include:

• Studying building plans and drawings to determine materials dimensions and installation procedures.

• Planning, ordering, and selecting timbers and materials and preparing layouts.

• Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape.

• Assembling and nailing the prepared wood parts to form structures and fittings

• Erecting and installing wall roof staircases and window framing and boards.

• Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.

• Constructing building frames and installing cladding on the inside and outside of buildings.

• Removing and repairing existing fittings.

Job pre-requisites: 

• At least 2 years relevant working experience with verified evidence

• Relevant qualification is preferable but not a must

• Good work attitude and good communication skills

• Strong motivation

• Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload

• Quality workmanship and eye for detail

• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety。

• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.

• Strong ability to work independently

Other details:

Job Salary : $29.66 - $31.50  

Working place: Auckland

Working hour per week: 30 -50
