WELDER

We’re looking for a skilled Welder to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine materials requirements and task sequences. Operate welding equipment and hand/power tools. Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using various Welding techniques. Assemble, Welding, install, bolt, rivet, and repair components and systems according to specifications. Preparing work materials by clamping and cutting. Grinding, cleaning, filling, and applying chemical solutions for finishing products. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow safety procedures and company protocols. Requirements:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in NZ performing TIG and Stick welding on structural steel, pipework, and other components as required for civil infrastructure projects. Familiar with working in both workshop and on-site environments. Strong knowledge of metal types and Welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret a Welding Procedure. Skilled with measuring tools, grinders, saws, and welding equipment. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Strong understanding of welding safety and PPE requirements. Relevant welding qualifications or current certifications (e.g., AS/NZS ISO 9606.01:2017/ASME IX). Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in various environments. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
