You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to perform on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $28.60-$35.00 based on experience and ability, as well as addition qualifications.

The job will require the candidate to imperfect vehicle engines and electrical faults, and repair to a high standard.

  Inspects lightweight vehicles to identify mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs.

 Uses computerized diagnostic tools to identify problems with petrol engines and mechanical parts of motor vehicles

 Repairs or replaces faulty parts and components of motor vehicles.

Performs routine maintenance tasks on motor vehicles, such as oil changes and filter replacements

  Inspects and road tests motor vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy.

Maintains, tests and repairs petrol engines and the mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes, including hybrid vehicles.

The right candidates must have

 Either have at least two years of relevant experience or NZQCF Level 4 qualification.

  Good communication and professional skills.

  Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking.

Keen to work well within a team setting.

  Great attention to details.
