Position Summary:
We are seeking full-time Metal Fabricator
s to join our production and installation team. The role involves the fabrication and assembly of metal components for insect screens, security doors, and related products.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Accurately measuring and marking materials such as aluminum or steel according to product specifications, ensuring minimal waste and precise cuts.
  • Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using a variety of equipment including drop saws, routers, drills, rivet guns, and other hand and power tools.
  • Interpreting technical drawings, assembly guides, and work orders to determine the materials, tools, and assembly methods required for each product.
  • Drilling, grinding, riveting, and fastening components to build insect screens, security doors, and retractable screens in line with company standards.
  •  Inspecting finished components and assembled products to ensure structural integrity, durability, and visual quality meet both internal quality control requirements and customer expectations.
  •   Collaborating with the production and installation team to ensure timely assembly and delivery of products, adapting to project-specific timelines and custom requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including adherence to workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and proper use of protective equipment.
  • Troubleshooting fabrication or fitment issues, making adjustments or improvements as needed to resolve problems during the assembly process.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in product assembly, metal fabrication, or as a home improvement installer
  • Competence with hand tools and power tools
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Reliable and able to work both independently and in a team environment
