Position: Fleet Manager

Number of Positions Available: 1
Location: Auckland
Hours of Work Per Week: 30 minimum to 40 maximum
Pay Rate: $36 to $43 per hour

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience OR a Level 4 or higher qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transport fleet, ensuring optimal utilisation and compliance

  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle movements, driver shifts, and delivery timelines

  • Ensure that all fleet vehicles comply with WOF, RUC, COF, registration, and other legal and safety requirements

  • Monitor GPS systems and route plans to improve fuel efficiency and minimise delays

  • Liaise with dispatchers, mechanics, and senior management to manage fleet availability and downtime

  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing, incidents, repairs, and running costs

  • Implement and enforce driver safety protocols and training where necessary

  • Analyse fleet data to generate performance and cost-efficiency reports

  • Handle incident reporting and insurance claims

  • Ensure drivers adhere to logbook requirements, work hours, and transport regulations

  • Coordinate with external service providers for repairs and maintenance as required

  • Support business logistics and planning through efficient transport resource allocation
