We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our busy and vibrant motor lodge located near Christchurch city centre. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high cleanliness standards for our guests.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

  • Pay Rate: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

  • Rostered Shifts: Flexibility is essential, as shifts will include weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the interior of buildings and immediate external areas

  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures

  • Removing rubbish and emptying bins

  • Restocking minibars and bathroom amenities

  • Replenishing items such as glasses, toiletries, writing materials, linen, and groceries

  • Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with a professional and friendly attitude

  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

  • No prior experience or formal qualification required – full training will be provided
