As such, we are seeking 10 Metal Fabricators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have commitment about precision metalwork and eager to contribute to high-quality home solutions.

Job Title: Metal Fabricator
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Type: Full Time Permanent
Vacancies: 10
Hours: 30 hours per week
Hourly wage: $30.00-$38.00/hour based on your skills and experiences

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately assemble and fabricate metal components.
  • Use welding, riveting, and other metal-joining techniques to securely connect metal parts.
  • Operate machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and form metal materials.
  • Perform regular maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assemble and disassemble metal structures according to customer requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • You must either hold a Level 3 or higher Certificate
    or
  • At least 12 months of experience in construction industry


Skills & Knowledge Preferred
Attention to details

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints (preferred but not
mandatory).

Knowledge or experience in welding, cutting, and machining metal components (preferred but not required—training will be provided).

Willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills in metal fabrication.
