REPORTS TO: Store Manager and Shift/Duty Manager
We require at least 3 new Crew Members for our busy Grey Lynn Pizza Hut Store. As part of the team, you are required to greet and serve customers, prepare products, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handle or process light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position to maintain the integrity of the store.


These are full time positions working over various shifts. Full on-the-job training will be provided. Applicants with customer service and fast-food industry experience will be given preference. However, full training will be provided. Minimum working shift is 30 per week. The wage rate will be between minimum wage and $26per hour depending on prior work experience.


Tasks And Responsibilities:
1. Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
2. Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
3. Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill.
4. Collects payment from customers.
5. Performs Cash-In Procedure- accounting for all forms of money, stock, etc., during the shift.
6. Prepares food neatly, according to recipes and customer requirements, in a timely manner.
7. Checks product units and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
8. Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
9. Cleans and maintains all areas of the premises to promote a clean image.
10. Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards
11. Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.


PREREQUISITES
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift at least 5kgs frequently and up to 15kgs occasionally.


Must be happy to undergo an alcohol and drug test and Ministry of Justice Check if required. Must be available to work during weekends, late nights and on-call when required.
