4 Hearts Homes Ltd is seeking a bookkeeper to join the team to ensure smooth financial operation of the company.
Description of the role:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable using manual and computerized systems
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders and bank deposits
- Process payroll, subcontractor payments, and maintain relevant tax records for GST, PAYE, and other tax obligations
- Track and allocate costs to specific construction projects
- Assist the Accounting Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring for multiple projects
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards; verify transactions and report discrepancies to the Accouting Manager
- Preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports, bugget reports and cost analyses
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding billing and financial documentation
- Ensure compliance with local accouting standards, construction contracts, and regulatory requirements
We prefer the candidates who have:
- A relevant Level 4 or higher qualification is preferable OR at least two years of relevant working experience
- Experience in the construction industry is an advantage but not essential
- Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently

- Competitive pay range: $30-$35 per hour based on skill and experience

- Guaranteed minimum working hours: 30 hours per week
