· Days Required: Monday to Sunday on a roster
· Wage: 25 to 39 before tax
· Hours per week: A minimum of 30 hours a week guaranteed, a maximum of 40 hours a week

About Us:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef to take charge of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food production, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and supervising a team of kitchen and waiting staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan menus in consultation with management, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.

Estimate food and labour costs and manage inventory to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Order and maintain adequate supplies of food and ingredients.

Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen/wait staff to resolve any food preparation issues.

Demonstrate proper cooking techniques and advise team members on culinary procedures and recipes.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu.

Ensure all food handling, preparation, and storage complies with hygiene and food safety regulations.

Enforce kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.

May be involved in the selection, supervision, and training of kitchen staff.

May be responsible for freezing and preserving foods as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant diploma in culinary arts or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience is required. (Either one will do)
