Capitalland Limited is a well-established, Auckland-based KTV and entertainment venue, providing our customers with a vibrant, safe, and enjoyable karaoke experience. We are now seeking an experienced, motivated Duty Manager to join our team and help deliver high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the KTV venue to ensure a smooth and safe environment for customers and staff.

  • Oversee the front-of-house team, providing leadership, guidance, and training to maintain excellent service standards.

  • Monitor the sale and supply of alcohol in line with New Zealand licensing laws and company policies.

  • Handle customer enquiries and professionally resolve any issues or complaints.

  • Ensure health and safety, fire safety, and security procedures are followed at all times.

  • Assist with stock control, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.

  • Liaise with senior management to report on daily operations and identify areas for improvement.


Key Requirements:

  • A successful candidate should have a minimum relevant qualification at NZQF level 4, or have at least 2 years of relevant work experience, or have a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Valid LCQ (License Controller Qualification) and Manager’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

  • Reliable, well-organised and able to work well under pressure.
