About the Role

 

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our small, friendly team. The successful candidate will help ensure our suites and shared areas are cleaned to the highest standard and presented beautifully for each guest.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily cleaning of guest suites, including bathrooms, kitchenettes, bedrooms, and decks

Changing and laundering linens and towels

Replenishing in-room amenities and consumables

Cleaning and maintaining shared guest areas (e.g., lounge, hot tub deck, BBQ)

Reporting maintenance needs or guest feedback to management

Following eco-friendly cleaning practices and safe chemical use

Occasionally assisting with breakfast preparation or guest communication (if needed)

Requirements:

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (hospitality preferred)

Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work

Ability to work efficiently and independently

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

Physically fit and comfortable with standing, bending, lifting, and moving quickly

Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and busy seasonal periods

Own transport required (remote rural location)

 

Preferred But Not Required:

Experience in luxury or boutique accommodation

Knowledge of sustainable cleaning methods

Basic First Aid certificate
