We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated Chef de Partie specialising in Kitchen Process & Production to join our dynamic team. This key role is responsible for overseeing and optimising all kitchen processes and production operations across our growing range of offerings.

You’ll collaborate closely with management to review current kitchen workflows, recommend and implement improvements, and lead day-to-day production with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Location: Sherry Kitchen Deli – Northcote, Auckland (must live locally)
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 Hours / Week (must be available weekends and night shifts)
Pay range: $28 - $35

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and streamline all kitchen production processes
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and develop recipes
  • Maintain and improve the Food Control Plan
  • Prepare meals for catering and large-scale production
  • Cook in high volumes for freezer meal production
  • Delivery premium-level cuisine for private jet clients
  • Manage inventory and supplier relationships
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures
  • Prioritise and manage production timelines to meet daily and weekly deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience OR a level 4 cookery qualification (or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of food saftey and hygiene regulations in NZ
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Experience with ordering and supplier liaison
