What You’ll Be Doing

Managing and expanding an established client portfolio across the New Zealand

Cold calling and business development — growing market share and brand presence.

Handling stock control, ordering and inventory management processes

Working independently in the field with strong support from head office, utilising our electronic diary and reporting system

Lead Generation and Qualification: Identifying and qualifying potential customers through various methods, including current company database, cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Customer Engagement: Meeting with customers, presenting products or services, answering questions, and providing demonstrations.

Building Relationships: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Sales Presentations: Delivering compelling presentations to highlight product features and benefits and address customer needs.

Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions, and closing deals to secure sales.

Sales Reporting and Tracking: Tracking sales activities, reporting on performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Product Knowledge: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of products or services and staying updated on industry trends.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service in a timely manner and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

• a minimum 1 year of proven sales success, ideally in the Consumers goods,retail sales assistant or similar roles
• Demonstrated ability to assess technical site needs and match them with appropriate service offerings and learn and develop these skills. A basic level of knowledge will be a measure of your ability to do this.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Again this will be measured by your formal experience level by reference to a basic understanding.
• Highly self-motivated with strong time management and planning ability
• Comfortable with CRM systems, iPad-based sales tools, and quoting software
• Knowledge of consumers goods materials and safety practices
• Current NZ or overseas driver’s license and right to work in New Zealand required
