About the Position – Director of Clinical Services (Canberra)
As Director of Clinical Services, you’ll be overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations of a busy, specialised day hospital delivering services in ophthalmology, endoscopy, and general surgery.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care
  • Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and professional development initiatives
  • Drive compliance with NSQHS standards, accreditation, and infection control
  • Work closely with the GM to manage budgets, P&L, and commercial outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with VMOs and contribute to business development
  • Champion quality improvement and a culture of safety and service excellence

What We’re Looking For
  • AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse
  • Strong perioperative clinical background is essential
  • Proven leadership experience in a DON, ADON, or NUM role
  • Solid understanding of accreditation and compliance standards
  • Commercial mindset with financial management experience
  • Proactive, collaborative leadership style and strong interpersonal skills
