Looking for a new challenge that will fully utilise your digital records management and analysis experience?   In this role you will be setting up the clients SharePoint taxonomy, mapping migration of network folders to the national SharePoint level. 

Duties include:

  • Supporting the Corporate Records managers and assisting with the transition of service unit SharePoint sites to the national SharePoint environment
  • List, describe and sentence a range of records
  • Prepare protected care records for permanent retention and transfer to Archives
  • Providing technical support to the departments managers 
  • Preparing files and logisctics for the digital transfer of records to Archives NZ
  • Providing some support to other departments if required 
  • Ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Other adhoc duties

To be considered you will ideally have:

  • 3 years + experience as a records manager or technician 
  • A solid knowledge of NZ Public records act 2005
  • Experience with  digital records including knowledge of registration, classification, appraisal, storage and sentencing
  • Intermediate to advanced MS office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication skills experience with training others
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
