Location: Hobart TAS
Hours: Monday to Friday – No weekends, no public holidays, no overnights

About the Role:
Kate at Carejobz is now inviting applications for a Perioperative Floor Coordinator role with one of Hobart’s leading private surgical centres.
This is an exciting full-time leadership opportunity for a skilled perioperative nurse with strong anaesthetics experience and ideally a background in ophthalmic surgery. The successful candidate will lead clinical teams across theatre services, drive best practice, and help deliver exceptional patient care in a multidisciplinary day hospital setting.

What We’re Looking For:
- AHPRA Registration: Essential. You must hold current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
- Anaesthetics Expertise: Solid clinical experience in anaesthetics is essential.
- Ophthalmology Background: Experience in ophthalmic surgery is highly desirable.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience as a Floor Coordinator, Team Leader, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Strong Communication: You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a calm and confident presence.
- Team Player: You foster collaboration, respect, and shared success.
- Eligibility to Work in Australia: You must have full Australian working rights. While visa sponsorship is not available, applications from New Zealand citizens are encouraged.
