Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 Year or more of releavnt experience OR A Level 4 or higher relevant qualification,

  • Strong leadership, team coordination, and knowledge of crop cycles and safety practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day orchard operations.

  • Supervise and schedule teams, ensuring tasks align with seasonal goals and safety standards

  • Monitor crop health, pest/disease issues, and irrigation systems; collaborate on mitigation plans

  • Train staff in safe machinery use and horticultural practices

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety and industry regulations

  • Maintain accurate records of labour, productivity, crop performance, and site conditions

  • Report regularly to farm management on operations, workforce performance, and resource need

Key Requirements:

  • A Level 4 or higher relevant qualification, OR At least 3 year of relevant experience.

  • A valid heavy machinery license or endorsement (e.g. WTR) preferred, along with strong safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery for orchard operations including tractors, mulchers, sprayers, seeders, and loaders

  • Perform routine checks, minor servicing, and report faults on equipment

  • Load, transport, and unload materials, bins, or tools between work zones

  • Assist orchard teams with machine-supported tasks like fertilizing, spraying, mowing, and harvesting support

  • Follow site-specific safety protocols and maintain clean workspace and machinery

  • Log machine hours and operational tasks as required
