The opportunity:

Our client is a not for profit social services organisation providing refuge to woman in need of their services. This is a unique role, and will provide you with a greater sense of purpose, that your role is helping those in need. 

This is ideal for someone who has lived experience or a previous background of work within the family harm space. This role is full time, Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm, and based in Auckland central. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure room and house inspections are conducted weekly.

  • Administration duties and coordination of site. 

  • Prepare case notes.

  • Ensure clients have food, clothing, finances, and legal support offered and arranged, when necessary, through approved means.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous expereince wether that be lived experience, or relevant study plus experience with family harm.
  • An empathetic person, who's trust worthy and has excellent relationship skills.
  • NZ Citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Full NZ drivers license.
