Job Description: Thai Massage Therapist required to start job immediately

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

  • Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.
  • Utilize a range of Thai massage techniques.
  • Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation & relieve muscle tension.
  • Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice.
  • Assessing the clients’ physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
  • Perform therapeutic massage in accordance with best practice.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials.
    Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the massage working areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Work with a positive attitude and follow all lawful instructions.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR
  • Any Skill Standard Assessment Certificate as a Traditional Thai Massage Practitioner OR
  • an NZ diploma in Massage and job experience of at least 1 year in a Thai Massage businesses OR
  • At least bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 6 months of relevant experience working at a Thai Massage business

Maximum hours per week: 40 Hours/week
Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $25.50
Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $35.00
Pay frequent: Every 2 weeks (Fortnight)
