Position Available: Site Team Leader

Location: Waikato Region
Payrate: $30 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
  or

• Level 4 qualification or higher related qualification. 

• Demonstrated leadership ability and horticultural technical knowledge

• Competent in health & safety compliance and team coordination in outdoor field environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise daily horticultural operations.

• Allocate tasks, manage team schedules, and oversee seasonal workflows

• Monitor crop health, report issues (e.g., pests, irrigation needs), and assist in response planning

• Ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and agricultural biosecurity standards

• Provide on‑site training and mentorship in horticultural techniques and safe equipment use

• Maintain logs of daily activities, team performance, and site productivity metrics

• Communicate with senior site managers or farm owners regarding progress, resources, and workforce needs
