Restaurant Supervisor Wanted

 

Work Location: Invercargill, Southland

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours Minimum per week, if needed 45 hours Maximum will be provided)

 

The shift for our position will be Monday to Sunday, Rotating roster with split shifts between 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

 

Our pay: Minimum $24.50 per hour to Maximum of $30.00 per hour

 

We are a well-established Café and Restaurant based in Invercargill. To enhance our team, we are now looking for 2 Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

 

Applicant must have at least 1 years’ work relevant experience in hospitality or barista skill is required  OR liquor selling experience OR a level 2 or 3 qualification. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens. We will provide full training for successful applicant.

 

This position will be required to assist in preparing beverages such as coffee, tea and chocolate milk, preparing food and serving customers whenever required.

 

Key responsibilities and tasks:

 

  • Supervise efficient working of FOH and BOH teams and assign shifts.
  • Oversee staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements.
  • Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products.
  • Maintain inventory of all needed supplies to enhance sales.
  • Supervise workload and ensure effective working of restaurant activities and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations
  • Assist in hiring and training new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff
  • Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
  • Coordinate with team to ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase work efficiency
  • Resolve staff grievances together with Restaurant Manager.
  • Coordinate with Restaurant Manager for everyday operation and maintain financial and administrative records

 

The successful candidate must have:

 

·       Physical fitness and good work ethic

·       Valid Driving License

·       No criminal convictions

·       Must able to pass the drug test.
