Exciting Full-Time Hairdresser Opportunity – Auckland

 

Our client, SIYATH NEW ZEALAND LIMITED T/A Rodney-wayne-ormiston  a well-established and respected salon in Auckland, is seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdresser to join their friendly and professional team.

We are looking for creative and customer-focused hairstylists who are confident in their skills and love making clients feel and look their best. If you enjoy working in a vibrant salon environment and are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role:

  • Permanent full-time position: 30–40 hours per week, rostered across 7 days (between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

  • You will be responsible for providing a wide range of professional hair services with care, creativity, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hairdressing services, including:

    • Cutting and styling

    • Colouring

    • Blow drying and long hair styling

    • Relaxants and smoothing treatments

    • Permanent waving

  • Accurately diagnose hair types and scalp conditions

  • Recommend and promote salon products suited to individual client needs

  • Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and salon presentation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

About You:

  • Hold a Level 4 in Hairdressing or have a minimum of 3 years' proven hairdressing experience

  • Stay up to date with current trends and techniques in hair styling

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic team player

  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development
