Distinction Whangarei is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
In your role your responsibilies will include
- Food preparation - assisting in the preparation and cooking of our menus
- Kitchen operations - support our senior chefs in all kitchen activities including mise en place, food storage, maintaining hygiene standards and cleaning
- Quality control - follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Flexibility - ensure you maintain efficiency while working on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
What we need from you
- Previous experience and suitabile qualifications
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- You must be eligable to work in New Zealand no visa support is available for this position
