Position Available: Orchard Supervisor

Number of Positions Available: 5
Location: Paengaroa, Bay of Plenty Region
Payrate: $27–$32 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 months or above of relevant experience.
  or

• A Level 4 or higher relevant  qualification.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage seasonal teams and workflows

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily orchard operations.

• Manage the operation and maintenance of horticultural machinery and infrastructure

• Ensure team compliance with health & safety, pesticide use, and environmental regulations

• Conduct site inspections, track crop health, and implement improvements

• Train staff in standard horticultural practices and safe equipment operation

• Maintain accurate records of labour, production targets, and maintenance activities

• Liaise with farm managers to report progress, issues, and resource needs
