Accountant wanted
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to advance your career in the dynamic field of network solutions? Fusion Network is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
This role would be permanent in Auckland, based on at least 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:

Set out the business financial and accounting policies, build financial budgets to maximize efficiency

Regularly review the company’s financial status and report to management

Prepare financial forecasts and integrate company business activities and production
within the financial plan

Originate an Assets Register and determine the depreciation rate in accordance with IRD
specifications

Prepare, review and file GST returns, PAYE schedule and payroll
-
Audit company’s accounts and supervises a Cash Book
-
Prepare Profit & Loss accounts and a trial balance sheet

Prepare monthly reports regarding debtors and creditors
-
Investigate, verify and process invoices and employee reimbursements for quality, rate,
forge claim, etc

Track actual cost via budget, recommend solutions to reduce cost and operational
expenditure across the corporate

Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational
requirements

Make internal governance policies

Supply the management with accounts and financial management reports as required
-
Make recommendation of the internal control systems to the management
-
Report on existing financial position and income streams, costs, expected costs, and
earnings based on past, present, and expected operations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. OR
- Proven 3 years experience as an accountant or in auditing, preferably in the technology or network industry or managed services
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
-Experience with Procurement, Inventory and Cost Accounting preferred.
