Dhami Horticulture Limited is seeking a Horticultural machinery operator to operate a tractor, truck, mower, mulcher, hydrolada, and all other orchard machinery as required to ensure smooth operation. As a Horticultural machinery operator, your responsibilities will include operating tractors, forklifts, quad bikes, mowers, mulchers, trucks, hydrolada and all other machinery in the orchards whenever required.

  1. Operating mowers, mulchers, sprayers, tractors, forklifts and trucks safely and efficiently.
  2. Application of agrichemicals by using tractors and sprayers.
  3. Understanding the impact of weather conditions for spraying.
  4. A good understanding and awareness of safe work practices.
  5. Able to perform a pre-machinery check before use of every single machinery.
  6. Able to fill log books daily.
  7. Using tractors to transport materials and horticultural machinery equipment.
  8. Operating other farm equipment.
  9. Follow H & S regulations and safety standards, completing job sheets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience operating horticultural or machinery in a similar setting, including trucking.

  • Education: Relevant certification or training in Agricultural Machinery Operation, Horticulture, or Agriculture is preferred. Equivalent on-the-job experience will also be considered.
