Assistant Store Manager

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our Pizza Hut Hastings West restaurant. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations,manage Restaurant as per Sidhu Qsr Nz Limited Policies and procedures, inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain our high operational and food safety standards.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Restaurant Manager to meet sales and profitability targets

• Supervise, coach, and develop team members

• Manage rosters, training, and staff performance

• Maintain Appliances and facilities. Create Service Schedule for Preventive Maintenance and breakdown Maintenance
• Ensure Food and Safety Standards are adhered to in the restaurant 

• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

• Maintain inventory and stock controls

• Maintain Cash control as per company policy 

• Step up to manage the store when the Restaurant Manager is away

• Resolve customer concerns with a friendly and professional approach

• Create Great 5 Star Guest experience culture in the restaurant 

About You

• Previous hospitality, retail, or QSR  experience

• Previous work experience in Pizza industry would be preferred with previous Management training completed in Pizza Hut

• Strong communication and people skills

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service

• Confident managing a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

• All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a ministry of justice check when required

• Right to work in New Zealand

• Business studies/Qualification would be prefered
