Massage Therapist
YM Dance is a newly -established studio located in Auckland, dedicated to promoting physical wellbeing, artistic expression, and a balanced lifestyle. We are committed to promoting health, relaxation, and balance through dance and therapeutic services.
As our community of clients grows, we are expanding our range of services to include massage therapy to support recovery, relaxation, and performance enhancement for our dancers and wellness clients alike.
We are now seeking a qualified Massage Therapist to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant studio environment alongside dancers, instructors, and wellness professionals.
Type of employment: Permanent, guarantee 30hours per week, roster Monday to Sunday.
Location: Auckland region
Pay: $27-$29 per hour, depending on your skills and experience
Requirements:
- At least two years of relevant work experience in the same field or industry, OR
- A relevant level 4 relevant qualification or above
Tasks Include:
• Provide Chinese tui-na, deep tissue massage, acupressure massage, and relaxation massage to our customers;
• Assess the customer’s physical conditions and personal circumstances before or after classes, and tailor massage treatments accordingly
• Provide targeted therapeutic treatments to support muscle recovery, improve mobility, and enhance relaxation;
• Administer body treatments to promote relaxation and relieve muscle tension;
• Provide massage services with the help of essential oils and herbal and mineral therapies to increase therapeutic effects;
• Advise our customers on exercises and moves that may help with their physical fitness;
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client satisfaction
