 The duties of this position are:

• Relevant experience of two years or a relevant qualification
• providing advice on hair care, beauty products and hairstyles
• Shampooing clients hair as per their needs and requirements
• colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions
• cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
• Hair styling using different props, dread locks, etc.
• shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
• Making sure to clean the work area and sanitising instruments and gadgets used
• Making appointments
• Collecting payments from their clients
• may clean, colour, cut and style wigs and hairpieces
• greet guests and assist in taking orders
• Strong communication skills

Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends, late nights and Public Holidays as the role requires.

Salary range for the position: Around $30.00- $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
