Extrastaff are looking for Formworkers and experienced Civil Hammerhands for ongoing work throughout the rest of the year with our client working on residential and light commercial sites. 

What we are looking for - if you have experience in any of the following, we want to hear from you! 

  • Experienced in formwork, site foundations, boxing, steel structures
  • Experienced in steel tying 
  • Experienced with concrete placing and finishing 
  • Previous experience on Residential or Light Commercial sites 


 

Job Requirements - 

  • Must be able to work unsupervised. 
  • Previous experience working as a Formworker / Civil Hammerhand or Carpenter on residential site foundations. 
  • Preferably you will have your own tools (power and hand tools)  
  • Site Safe is required - we can assist with this!
  • Willing and able to undergo a MOJ (Criminal Conviction Check) and pre-employment drug test. 


 

Benefits -

  • Ongoing workload throughout the rest of the year and temp to perm opportunity.
  • 45+ hours a week (on average)
  • Civil Hammerhand pay rate between $27 - $30 per hour, dependent on experience and skill set 
  • Formworker / Civil Carpenter pay rate between $30 - $35 per hour, dependent on experience and skill set 
  • If interested - there is the opportunity to work away outside of Canterbury in the coming months with our client.
