Updateview Ltd, based in Manurewa, Auckland, is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join  our team as a Screen Fabrication & Installation Assistant. This is a full-time role supporting the  production and installation of fly screens, insect screens, door and window screen systems and  outdoor blinds.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Assist with fabrication of aluminium frames and mesh for fly screens and door/window  screen systems 
  • Measure, cut, and assemble screen products under supervision 
  • Support on-site installation by preparing and carrying materials, holding screens in place,  and basic fixing 
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely 
  • Maintain a clean workshop and help load/unload equipment and materials 

Terms and Conditions: 

  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent 
  • Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week minimum, 40 hours per week maximum 
  •  Pay Rate: $23.50 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience) 
  • Work Location: Updateview Ltd workshop in Manurewa, Auckland, with on-site installations  in the Auckland region 
  • Start Date: Immediate or by agreement  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must pass Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
  • Must pass drug test
  • Must have reliable transport
  • Must hold a full Class 1 (car) driver’s licence
  • Willing to learn
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
  • Reliable and punctual
