Position Available: Forklift Driver

Payrate: $30 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

Must have a Valid International Driving Forklift Licence Equivalent to New Zealand Forklift Licence 

Or 

Must Have Qualifications in Any Industry Minimum Level 4 or above equivalent to New Zealand Qualifications Authority 

Or 

3 Experience in Driving Heavy Vehicle or any form of Commercial Driving 

Must Pass Drug Test

Must not have any prior serious driving convictions

Floating Shifts – weekends included

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to transport produce bins, pallets, and materials on the farm and in packhouse areas

  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas with care and efficiency

  • Perform pre-start safety checks and report any mechanical faults

  • Assist in the coordination of stock movement between farm sites and cool storage

  • Adhere to health, safety, and biosecurity protocols

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work zones

 

 

 

Position Available: Maintenance Assistant Worker

Number of Positions Available: 3
Location: Dargaville
Payrate: $27 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in orchard, farm, or general maintenance work
    or level 4 or above relevant qualification.

  • Relevant hands-on skills in outdoor maintenance, repair, or equipment operation

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in variable weather

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with farm maintenance tasks such as fencing, irrigation, equipment repairs, and structural upkeep

  • Operate small tools and machinery (trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters) under supervision

  • Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to supervisors

  • Follow all workplace safety, biosecurity, and equipment handling protocols

  • Support orchard and field operations as required
