Position Available: Store Manager

Location: Matamata-Piako, Waikato Region
Payrate: $32 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40


Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail management or supervisory roles
    or

  • A Level 4 or higher qualification in business, retail, or a related field

  • Strong leadership, inventory management, and customer service skills


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

  • Determine stock levels, product mix, and service standards for the store

  • Formulate and implement store promotions, marketing activities, and pricing strategies

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and financial transactions

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including rostering and performance reviews

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations

  • Address customer complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Liaise with suppliers and monitor inventory to ensure timely restocking

  • Prepare reports on sales trends, budgets, and store performance for management
