Employment type: Permanent Full-time (guaranteed minimum 30

hours per week to maximum 45 hours per week, Monday to Sunday rotating roster 2:00

AM to 3:00 PM.

To enhance our team, we are now looking for 2 Bakers to join our team. We are

expecting someone who has a passion for baking, attention to details, ability to multi-

task and be a proactive member of the team.

Ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification at level 4 or above or 1 year’s

relevant work experience in bakery OR related field. Priority will be given to local NZ

residence/citizens.

Tasks include:

· Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands/hand tools and

other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods.

Make sweet, savory and special ingredient fillings, sources and toppings.

· Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure

quality standard are met

· Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware’s temperatures to ensure proper

baking and cooking time

· Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling

the finished products

· Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products

· Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality

requirements

· Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and

prepared for the next shift.

· Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to

ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
