You will be responsible to mantain repairs and maintenance of all vehicles and famring machineries.

Payrate: $32-$35 per hour

Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30 hours

Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40 hours

 

Long Trading Hours

Must Be Available to Work In The Weekends

We are looking for people that:

- Must have minimum 2 years experience in Automotive, Machinery or Mechanical Trade Industry

-       Be Physically fit

-       Punctual, reliable and honest.

-       Able to work shift rotations – weekends included

-       Work well in a Team

-       Enjoy practical work

-       Alert and safety-conscious

-       Able to cope with the physical demands of the job

-       Good hand-eye coordination

-       Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.

-       Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.

 The ideal candidate should be available to work full time weekdays and Saturday.

 Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Qualification  Industry Minimum Level 3

 Responsibilities:

Working with the manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles and machinery.

Reviewing vehicle  and machinery history, potential problems, and the services they would like to receive.

Performing test, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles and machinery to identify where problems exists and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.

Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles and machinery , such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes and parts.

Repairing damage to the body of the vehicle and machinery and washing and painting the vehicle’s and machinery’s exterior.

Estimates for repairs and discussing options with the owner

Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle and machinery are operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.

Maintaining accurate records and maintaining an impeccable service history.

Using equipment, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.

Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.

Liaising with Health and Safety Officer

 

Take personal responsibility for remaining productive during the entirety of each daily shift.
