We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established client based in Hamilton who is looking for passionate and skilled individuals to join their barbershop team!

Job Details

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Hairdressing, or

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a barbershop

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting and trimming hair with precision and efficiency

  • Shaving and grooming beards and moustaches

  • Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude

  • Recommending suitable haircuts and styles for clients

  • Advising clients on appropriate hair products

  • Working independently with minimal supervision

  • Cleaning equipment, workstations, and the shop between clients

  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as needed
