We have a vacancy for a Qualified Automotive Technician in our Ford Service Department.
This position is permanent and full time with the opportunity to work overtime when it is available.
What we are looking for:
· Qualified Automotive Technician / 3 years or more experience.
· Current WOF AVI certification would be a strong advantage.
· Excellent understanding of Diagnosing (fault finding), repairing and servicing, and experience with diagnostic scan tools would be advantageous.
· Accuracy and quality focused with the ability to problem solve and think laterally.
· Organised, efficient, and methodical.
· Great communication skills.
· Possess a “Can Do” attitude.
· Full and clean driver's license.
· Must be currently residing within New Zealand or be a citizen of New Zealand.

· Competitive rate of $33-$40 per hour dependent on experience.

Skills Required:
· The successful applicant will need to be qualified and have strong mechanical skills.
· Have a sound knowledge of Modern vehicle electrical diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
· Ford training would be an advantage but not required.
· To be able to work unsupervised.
· Strong time management skills.
· Exceptional attention on inspection sheets and general paperwork.
· Possess a customer satisfaction focused attitude and work well in a team.
· Your experience will be invaluable in assisting the development and training of our apprentice staff.
