Position: Fast Food Cook (3 Vacancies)
Location: Hastings (East and West Stores)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $24 – $28 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking three enthusiastic and reliable Fast Food Cooks to join our team across our two store locations in Hastings East and Hastings West. This is a rostered position, and flexibility with shifts is essential. A minimum of 30 hours per week will be guaranteed, with the potential for additional hours depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and cook a range of fast food items using grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Wash, cut, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
  • Package food items for takeaway or delivery
  • Assist with deliveries when required

  • Passionate about food preparation and committed to quality service
  • Willing to grow and take on more responsibilities as part of a long-term career path
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not essential
  • Ministry of justice check and pre employment drug test is required.
