NEWALIGN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY GROUP limited is a Auckland based dental clinic, their products and services are designed to set new benchmarks in orthodontic care. We specialise in manufacturing high-quality clear aligners, utilising our locally patented 3D printing technology. Our aligners are made from top-grade materials sourced from Germany, ensuring superior durability and performance. Due to business need, they are looking for 2 dental assistants and one store manager to join their team.
All positions are permanent with guaranteed 30 working hours per week.
Dental Assistant (Hourly rate between $28-35)
Job Description: Dental Assistants prepare patients for dental examination and assist Dental Practitioners, Hygienists, and Therapists in providing care and treatment. They perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of dental practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receiving and preparing patients for dental procedures.
· Arranging and handing instruments, medication, and other dental requisites to Dental Practitioners.
· Preparing dental materials and processing X-rays.
· Using suction devices and water sprays during dental procedures.
· Performing routine maintenance on dental equipment.
· Sterilising and preventing cross-infection of dental instruments and equipment.
· Advising patients on dental health education and post-operative care and procedures.
· Acting as a receptionist for Dental Practitioners, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
· Performing billing and other clerical tasks as required.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- NZQA Level 4 or above qualifications
- Minimum 2 years working experience could substitute the qualification requirement
Store Manager (Hourly rate between $28-35)
Job Description: Dental Clinic Store Managers organise and control the operations of dental clinics, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. They manage the clinic's inventory, oversee staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily operations of the dental clinic, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of dental supplies and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Supervising and training clinic staff, including dental assistants and administrative personnel.
- Maintaining financial records, including budgeting and billing.
- Implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new patients.
- Ensuring high standards of patient care and customer service.
- Coordinating with dental practitioners to ensure smooth clinic operations.

- NZQF Diploma or above qualifications
