Central Bakery in Mangere currently look for two reliable and experienced Bakers to join our team. Our main customers are warehouse and freight staff at Auckland airport. Working hours is between 30 and 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $29 to $32 per hour, depending on level of skills and experience.
Required skills and attributes:

Must be able to start at 2am

Available to work during weekends and public holidays

Have at least 3 years of experience working as a baker or similar roles

Must have experience in making pies, pastries products, sausage rolls, breads, donuts, cakes etc.

Physically fit for tasks that require physical strength such as heavy liftings or standing for extended periods

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Have strong multitasking skills and organisational skills
Your duties will include:

Producing fresh breads, buns and doughs

Producing fresh sweets such as sponges, cakes and cookies

Producing fresh pastries such as pies, tarts, croissants and turnovers

Managing presentation and decoration of baked goods

Monitoring baking ovens

Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and workspace

Ensuring workplace safety in managing self and others
-
Assessing and improving any products when seen fit to do so

Liaising with bakery manager on any concerns or suggestions

Performing any other related duties
