Huang Decorators Limited is  looking for someone to join their renovation team. You'll get to work on a variety of projects from kitchens and bathrooms, to decks and other outdoor structures.

Summary:

Renovation Carpenters breathe new life into existing structures, overseeing all aspects of building refurbishment. Responsibilities including structural assessment, material procurement, and to complete high-quality renovation projects in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect buildings to determine renovation needs
  • Develop renovation plans and budgets for approval
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for renovation projects
  • Coordinate and oversee renovation projects, including scheduling and supervising subcontractors
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
  • Keep accurate records of project progress and expenses
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve renovation processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in renovating field
  • Knowledge of renovation skills, including demolition, framing, plumbing, tiling, drywall, cabinetry, millwork, arbours, decks, and related safety procedures & equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as required.
