Triple S Thai Ltd, T/A Bangkok Station, is located in Mosgiel, near Dunedin. We provide top-class Thai food for travelers and locals. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.

 

The job involves the following tasks and duties: 

  • Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant.
  • Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary.
  • Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Assisting in improving dishes.
  • Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen.
  • Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks.
  • Ensuring the kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

 

To qualify for the job:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience are needed.
  • A relevant diploma, or a Bachelor's degree in any major, can replace the required work experience.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be able to work effectively under pressure, as our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
  • You may be required to work on weekends.
  • You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hands is thoroughly clean.
