Job Summary

The job is to assist certified electricians to prepare, install, repair, maintain and patrol insulated electric  power cables. Prepare cable connections and terminations to electrical equipment

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist certified electrician with measuring and laying out installation reference points
  • Assist certified electrician with selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to
    terminals and connectors
  • Assist certified electrician to prepare and install electrical wiring for new residential
    dwellings.
  • Assist certified electrician to prepare and install new electrical components.
  • Assist certified electrician to maintenance and repair of existing electrical components.
  • Assist certified electrician to position and install insulated electrical switchboards

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, OR
  • At least one year of working experience in relevant industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability
