We are looking for two qualified carpenters to join our team. You’ll be working as part of a team, composed of plumbers, electricians, HVAC Technicians and our building maintenance crew, ensuring our clients’ facilities are maintained to a high level.

We have two positions available for the role in the following areas of work:
All new commercial builds, commercial alterations, commercial renovations

Main duties:

  • Interpret designs and drawings to prepare relevant materials
  • Purchase timbers and materials and determine layouts of project
  • Use carpentry tools to cut and assemble according to plans
  • Set up framework, roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards and verify trueness of structures
  • Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and
  • window frames
  • Assemble wooden material to form structures
  • Use professional tools to cut wood joints
  • Repair existing fittings
  • Other carpentry worksHourly rate: $31.00 to $45.00.

  • Requirements: 3 years relevant work experience or relevant qualification in carpentry, good communication skills; attention to details, positive can-do attitude.
