Job Opportunity: Class 5 Truck Driver

This is a full-time position based in Auckland, with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

Role Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license or able to obtain one in 3 months.

  • Must have knowledge of chaining and unchaining log truck

  • Must knowledge of all ports and mills

  • Must comply with New Zealand Log safety council

  • Must be confident to drive 18speed road ranger gear box

  • Must be confident to reverse a truck and trailer

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings shifts and weekends.

  • Driving Experience of 1 year or more preferred.

  • Expected to have the experience in driving log trucks and be confident to drive on narrow county side roads, and forest roads

  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and criminal record reference checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 5 vehicles to transport goods as assigned.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.

  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
