What we offer you:

  • Plumber Pay: $28–$32 per hour
  • Ongoing support and career growth
  • Full time position, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.

What we need from you:

  • Interprets blueprints to plan plumbing system layout
  • Joins pipes and fittings using various techniques
  • Installs and repairs water supply, drainage systems and fixtures
  • Installs and repairs solar hot water and heat pump systems
  • Installs and maintains fi re hydrants and hose reels
  • Tests plumbing systems for leaks and issues
  • Maintains and repairs plumbing systems in various types of buildings
  • Fabricating and installing metal roofi ng, rainwater goods and flashings
  • Keep job sites safe, tidy, and ready for work
  • NZ Plumber License is preferred not compulsory
  • At least 2 years Relevant Plumber working experience or NZ Certifictein Plumbering L3 or above qualification

Skills and knowledge

Plumbers need to have:

  • knowledge of plumbing materials and methods
  • skill in interpreting designs, plans and instructions
  • knowledge of building and safety regulations
  • knowledge of the Building Code in relation to plumbing
