Our leading service industry client, is growing their team and is looking for super motivated Sales Representatives to get out, acquire new business and grow their client base.
The business is well known, and their value proposition is strong — which just makes your job easier. With growing demand and a business on the rise, they’re expanding their sales team, so we are looking for a Sales Representative to be based out of their Upper Hutt branch and look after the Lower North Island Territory.
You will own your territory and be responsible for proactively canvassing businesses, booking appointments, and converting new customers. Target customers are mid to large companies, and you will need to be confident working across different levels of a business from Operations Managers to Procurement and other senior decision makers.
This role will have a mixture of developing new business, as well as working with excising accounts to introduce a new service offering.
We are looking for a confident Salesperson who thrives on activity, targets, and closing deals.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Owning your patch — proactively prospecting and converting new business opportunities

Calling on mid to large businesses and engaging decision-makers at all levels

Booking and attending sales appointments and closing deals

Introducing exciting new service offerings to existing clients

Managing your own sales pipeline and hitting activity and revenue targets
About you:

Has a strong background in business development sales

Confident in prospecting, cold calling and making sales appointments with new customers.

Those who will get out and proactively visit new clients in their territory every day.

Knows how to sell — you’re persuasive, resilient, and great at closing

Who will put in the sales activity to talk to more customers and close more deals.

We are looking for those that really want to make good $$$, so we only want highly motivated salespeople who are hungry to earn good commission

We require candidates with a strong background in business development sales who are confident in engaging with businesses through face-to-face interactions.
Let’s be clear: This role isn’t for those who prefer account management, email prospecting, or sitting behind a desk. We need boots-on-the-ground salespeople ready to get out there and make things happen.
The Rewards:

A base salary of $80K + full use Company Car and uncapped commissions.

First years on target earnings will be $130K (Good potential to earn a LOT more).
