Chillmount Refrigeration Service NZ is based in Hawke’s Bay and Palmerston North. The business provides service for North Island. We are in the business for 14+ years for domestic, light commercial products in refrigeration and air-conditioning. We have a vacancy of refrigeration technicians available in the company. You will be based in either Hawkes's Bay or Palmerston North. You have to travel to other regions in the north island based on the work.

Duties and responsibilities -
Ascertain clients requirement and advise them for refrigeration/ air-conditioning systems
Install refrigeration /air-conditioning systems.
Test, adjust and balance systems to make sure they work properly
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Troubleshooting refrigeration /air-conditioning / electrical systems for faults and repair
Observing and testing newly installed systems.
Replacing worn seals, outer shells, and worn-out motors.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

This is a mobile role with regular visits to our customers to provide an excellent service. It is a hands-on role, working independently, managing your workload by using your knowledge and experience of the industry. The person should be able to enjoy the fast-paced environment, easy going, great teamwork attitude and have good communication skills with every stakeholder of the company.

You need to have –
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Refrigeration and air-conditioning and/or HVAC systems
Knowledge of chiller repair and maintenance
Full and clean driver’s license / Full driver's license in any country for out of NZ applicants
Diversified knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration
Self-motivated and ability to work independently

Strongly customer focused and good understanding on safety requirement
